ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship (ACYLS) 2026/2027 – Fully Funded Study in China

The ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship (ACYLS) 2026/2027 is now open for applications. Funded by the Chinese government, this prestigious scholarship aims to strengthen cooperation between ASEAN countries and China through academic exchange, leadership development, and shared regional progress.

For the 2026/2027 academic year, the programme offers 12 fully funded placements, divided as follows:

  • 5 Doctoral (PhD) scholarships
  • 5 Master’s degree scholarships

  • Demonstrate English proficiency (minimum IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80)
  • Hold an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Be under 45 years old (for master’s and doctoral applicants)
  • Have at least one year of work experience, preferably in ASEAN-China cooperation or related fields
  • Not currently receive any other Chinese government scholarship
  • Meet the admission requirements of the chosen Chinese university
